Abstract :
The mobile classroom project is based on a vision of the future in which students use a pen-based tablet with wireless communications as a front-end to their education-service provider. The term "mobile classroom" refers to the ability to create a virtual classroom whenever students are "tuned" in. The authors believe that the availability of a computer for every student in a class will enable a paradigm shift in education in the area of student testing.
