Abstract
Notice of Retraction
After careful and considered review of the content of this paper by a duly constituted expert committee, this paper has been found to be in violation of IEEE´s Publication Principles.
We hereby retract the content of this paper. Reasonable effort should be made to remove all past references to this paper.
The presenting author of this paper has the option to appeal this decision by contacting TPII@ieee.org.
Ultrafine and uniform electrospun PVA nanofibers was employed to take action on cotton fibers through crosslinking by 3-Isocyanatomethyl-3, 5, 5-trimethylcyclohexyl isocyanate (IPDI). The prepared PVA nanofibers had a diameter of about 200-300nm, and SEM photos suggested that crosslinking not only happened between PVA and cotton fibers but also in PVA nanofibers itself. In order to draw a comparison, experiments under different spinning time were carried out, and the results obviously showed that as the spinning time increased, fibers interaction reinforced. FTIR analysis results demonstrated that there was a new chemical bond arising after IPDI´s crosslinking.
