Abstract :
In this paper, fuzzy controllers extending the Takagi-Sugeno PDC framework are proposed. Instead of being linear in the membership functions, quadratically, cubically, etc. parameterised controllers can be dealt with using recent LMI stability and performance conditions. As a particular case, LMI stability conditions are devised in order to prove state-feedback stabilizability of Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy systems with controllers quadratic in the membership functions, and numerical examples are provided.
