Abstract :
Analysis methods for assessing the stability of power converter systems that have batteries connected in parallel with the output are provided. Battery models appropriate for small-signal stability analysis and measurement methods for obtaining model characteristics are also given. Example results from converter operation in current-limit and voltage-control modes are used to illustrate the analysis concepts and techniques
