Abstract :
A new resonant DC/DC converter with Class DE oscillator is introduced, along with its analysis and experimental results. It consists of a Class DE power oscillator and a Class D transformer center-tapped rectifier. The Class DE oscillator ensures a low peak voltage across switches and can be smaller than a conventional one because the Class DE oscillator does not need an additional circuit to drive MOSFETs. The Class D rectifier offers low switching losses and noise. The measured efficiency was over 80% at 2 MHz and 2.5 W
