Abstract :
A new driver model for the Chinese Train Control System Level 3 (CTCS-3) simulation system is proposed in this paper to achieve safe, punctual and smooth control of train under complex situations. Particularly, a rule library for the driver actions is established to deal with the complex environments, and a two-step speed control strategy is adopted to meet the requirements of safety. By using the maximum acceleration change rate strategy, the driver model fits for the online action which is required by the research of Automatic Train Operation (ATO) system. Simulation results show that the modeling targets can be achieved by using the proposed modeling method.
