Abstract :
The author identifies and validates a framework useful for both practitioners and researchers to integrate current work in identifying the risks associated with strategic information systems. Risks are defined, identified, and categorized, and practical actions to minimize organizational vulnerabilities associated with the introduction of these systems are outlined, on the basis of both literature review and personal observation.<>
