Abstract
In adaptive harmonic current detecting method based on the principle of adaptive noise cancellation, there is a contradiction between the detecting accuracy and the detecting speed. The accuracy can be improved by using a lower learning rate, but it will be accompanied by the deterioration in dynamic response, and vice versa. This is because that there are a series of pulsating components in the weight factor even at steady state. In the paper, the pulsating components are analyzed firstly. Then several methods to improve the accuracy of the adaptive harmonic current detection for single-phase circuits by reducing the pulsating components in the weight are proposed. Their performances are investigated by simulation.
