Abstract :
The object position measuring is an important work of dual-view stereo vision. At present, the most widely used dual-view stereo method of measurement is based on the binocular disparity and geometry between the left and right images. In this paper, we proposed two object position measuring methods based on an adjustable dual-view camera, it requires the optical axes are converged to the same point on the target object. The first method of object position measuring is based on the rotation angles of the two cameras and the pitching angle of the optical axial plane. The second method of object position measuring is based on the relative extrinsic parameters. The proposed methods can perform good position measuring without the epipolar rectification and stereo matching. The validities and reliabilities of the proposed methods are verified by the experimental results.
