Abstract
This paper tracks the development of creative industries both in China and abroad. Linking to the current situation of Shanghai, one of the most developed city with creative industries in China, it give a concrete analysis of business model, covering profit model, value chain, and some features like industry clusters as well, with the help of theories of industrial economics, supply chain management, the full life-cycle management and methods of Gap analysis, Fishbone Diagram, etc.
