Abstract :
This paper firstly establishes a simple CAD/CAE/CAM model for designing, analyzing, producing, and integrating by using a coupling joint shaft as the element to explain the automation result of this integrated model. Secondly, the development of the interface software between the different systems of CAD, CAE and CAM is adopted to explain how the interface is used to support the integrated system described above. Finally, an EMCO desktop CNC lathe, milling machine and inspecting system were connected to simulate the integrated system.
