A new approach to understand and manage risks

A major purpose of this paper is to provide a system approach to evaluate and analyze risks. Current risk management techniques are reviewed briefly to identify shortcomings, and the connectivity of risk is introduced as background information. The Strategic Risk Register System (SRRS) is proposed by the authors as a new approach to analyze risks holistically and several techniques are recommended to interpret and visualize data. A case study is deployed to manifest how SRRS works in practice.
