Abstract :
This paper presents a new method to construct controllers for Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy system which are based on composite quadratic Lyapunov functions. By adopting this new choice of Lyapunov function and taking into account the information of the membership function of the fuzzy variables, the disturbance attenuation problem turns into an optimizing problem which can be resolved by solving the corresponding LMIs (Linear Matrix Inequalities). It was clearly shown in our illustrative example that controllers thus designed lead to better disturbance rejection performances.
