Abstract :
This paper designs and implements a DSP based AC induction servo motor drive. The proposed servo drive applies indirect vector control to eliminate the nonlinear coupling of an induction motor and employs the robust integral structure control (RISC) algorithm to design the induction servo control system so as to achieve a fast and accurate servo control. Simulation and experimental results show that the proposed RISC system can achieve accurate position/velocity servo tracking with good transient and steady-state responses in the presence of load disturbance and plant parameter variation
