Abstract :
In this paper an electromagnet is introduced to promote a sizing methodology, The case study consists of an actual industrial device (electromagnetic plunger). After describing the procedure to model, a discussion on the use of rapid simulation models is given. Then, the generic tool used for the sizing is presented. Finally, the design problem is described with its implementation in the software, and the results are given
