Abstract
Summary form only given. In this paper, the authors present an educational software package for the generation, schematic capture, simulation, optimization and layout description of integrated electronic systems. This system works in an environment (framework) that manipulates each of the tools. The main characteristic of this system is that the hierarchic method is used and students can make top-down designs starting from a system definition up to the physical description layout of the devices needed in the integrated circuit.
