Abstract :
After analyzing the characteristics of video safety monitoring of coal mine, a tree-based application level multicast architecture with tree layers is built to transmitting video monitoring packets in mining Intranet. In order to minimize the packet transmitting delay, a hybrid algorithm is proposed based on the clustering algorithm and GA to select the multicast service nodes (MSNs) from network nodes for forwarding video packets in the architecture. Compared with the traditional K-medoids algorithm, the proposed algorithm not only avoids converging to local minimum value, but also is robust to initialization. Also, during the evolution, according to actual features of MSNs of the architecture, the evolutional control strategies including diverse gene and evolutionary elite reservation are used to enhance the local search ability for optimal solution, and the simulation results verify the validity of the algorithm.
