Abstract :
Knowledge work often involves work in temporary teams. Increasingly these teams are not face-to-face but virtual teams. This paper explores collective team identification in face-to-face and virtual teams. Exploratory factor analysis and second order confirmatory factor analysis are used to examine collective team identification of face-to-face versus virtual teams of knowledge workers in terms of cohesion, trust, and intra-group conflict
