Abstract
The real-time networked control system based on switched industrial Ethernet has been the developing trend of safety supervision system for coal mine. Considering the characteristics of data and information in coal mine, novel network hierarchy architecture for coal mine safety supervision was presented, which is compatible with IEEE802.3 standard. Having the redundancy ring network as one connected by hierarchy, the end-to-end communication delay was calculated and analyzed. Time delay, packet loss and priority policy were examined in experimental scenario. Testing result shows that the architecture of network protocol presented can provide the deterministic end-to-end delay and effective priority support.
