Abstract :
This paper proposed an intelligent islanding detection method based on the extension theory for a photovoltaic (PV) power generation system. The PSIM software package was used to establish a 516W grid-connected PV power generation system for completing the simulation of the proposed islanding detection method. Some simulated results are made to verify the effectiveness of the proposed islanding detection method. The detection results indicate that the proposed method can detect the islanding correctly and promptly.
