An intelligent appraise algorithm for non economic part of relationship value in business markets

Value creation is considered as key to collaborative relationships. Though the body of literature in the area of relationship value is growing fast, most research is of conceptual nature including definition and construct. As long as measuring relationship value remains scarce, it will be criticized for its operational ambiguity. The relationship value incorporates both economic and non economic value types. There are many appraise approaches for economic part of relationship value, but evaluation of non economic value, which is one of the key and difficult contents in relationship value management, is lack of effective methods. The present paper puts forward an algorithm of case-based reasoning (CBR) based on collaborative outranking relations to support evaluating non economic value. Firstly, review the literature about relationship value and its evaluation. Then, on the foundation of analyzing characteristics of relationship value, the evaluation rationale was analyzed all around. Finally, the implemental steps of the evaluation algorithm were provided.
