This paper presents a lumped parameter model of cardiovascular circulation system of the congestive heart failure(CHF). It includes the left ventricular, right atria , the pulmonary circulation and the systemic circulation. The resistance, compliance of the vessels and the inertia of blood is represented by R, L, and C, respectively. The pressure and flow rate of the CHF patients are calculated in response to the model. The cardiac cycle is divided into three periods and the state equations are written according to the periods. The cardiovascular model has been validated with clinical data from a patient suffering from CHF. The results of simulation show that the pressure and flow rate consistent with clinical manifestations of CHF.
