  • Abstract
Results of novel FACTS conception with application of advanced double-axis excitation variable speed machines study are shown. New mathematical models of asynchronised machines (AS) and their excitation control systems in the MATLAB/SIMULINK frame are developed. New excitation control laws for AS machines application in FACTS are proposed and studied. The results of simulation showed that application of AS machines for his special reason could be profitable, especially for FACTS of large power and high supply voltages levels
