Abstract
Based upon the core of Industrial Engineering (IE) on eliminating clean ineffective work (ECIW) together with Automobile operational equation (AOE), the theoretical limit of the effective curb mass of passenger car (TLECMPC), two ways for solving TLECMPC, the ratio of the effective curb mass of passenger car (RECMPC) and the ratio of the ineffective curb mass of passenger cars (RICMPC) have been advanced for the first time in this paper. And then the theoretical lightweight limit of passenger cars (TLLPC) and the theoretical limit of fuel saving of passenger cars (TLFSPC) relative to TLLPC have been presented in this paper. The case in this paper indicates that as to H original passenger car with 1300 (Kg) curb mass, its RICMPC is 62.15% high, its TLLPC is 808 (Kg) high and its TLFSPC is 3(L/100 Km).
