Abstract :
Multi-channel Gabor filter based target recognition method is proposed in this paper for phone key auto-detection. The target image is filtered with a multi-frequency-angle bank and then local energy maxima are extracted as feature set. To reduce the computation caused by the angle difference, a method of estimating the rotation angle is proposed based on length width ratio determination of the target outer frame, which leading to high efficiency. The experiments show that the recognition degree of the proposed algorithm is more than 90% and the false accept rate is below 1%.
