Abstract :
This paper describes the objectives and achievements of a two-year European collaborative project in high-frequency design, which is due to conclude in the first half of 1998. The EDGE project has brought together software developers, users and component manufacturers in a unique partnership which has produced a number of significant technical achievements as well as promoting a more open and flexible concept in creating customised, modular and user-oriented CAD environments
