  • Abstract
    For the purpose of marine safety, this paper, after discussing the advantages of MAS compared with traditional DCS structure, presents a hybrid intelligent multi-agent method for engineer room monitoring and faults diagnosis. A new diagnosis process, combined with data mining and neural networks, are discussed as well as the functions and structure of agent which implements these algorithms. At last, some simulation results are shown to demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed system.
