Progress in time-domain electromagnetic modelling

This contribution provides a short review of new developments in time-domain modelling. Improvements in the basic simulation algorithm as well as in preprocessing and postprocessing environment are addressed. Their combination results in user-friendly software tools competitive to the more classical frequency-domain simulators. As an example, QuickWave-3D software package is presented. Since the annual number of scientific papers on the time-domain modelling experiences an almost exponential growth, the list of publications given herein is inevitably selective.
