Abstract :
The growing use of wireless sensor networks in many domains in late years is pushing researchers to improve existing applications or seek a new utilization of these kinds of networks. But these networks pose some constraints such as energy constraints, the inability to locate nodes in a centralized way and unpredictable disappearance of nodes in WSN. In this paper we rely about the term self-localization in WSN, we proposed a new distributed localization protocol for WSN taking into account the energy consumption and fault tolerance. We also compared our approach with the trilateration protocol.
