Abstract :
In this paper, an improved reservation code multiple access (IRCMA) which is based on a pervious RCMA protocol for a spreading-spectrum, is presented. An additional call admission channel for voice terminals is added. The waiting voice terminal enter a queue in the base station. Theoretical performance measures of the voice packet-dropping probability and the average data packet delay are derived by means of equilibrium point analysis and examined by extensive computer simulation
