Abstract
Nowadays, people expect to connect to the Internet from "anywhere" at "anytime", and multimedia applications have become more popular in the wireless network. The IETF has published the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) and Network Mobility (NEMO) Basic Support Protocol. The performance, however, is not very well when using the session initiation protocol in nested NEMO, since every SIP request must pass through a lot of wireless connections. In order to improve the performance of the Network Mobility and SIP integrated, we proposed an efficient SIP scheme in NEMO to provide an efficient way to store the register information and hence reduce the overhead caused by transferring the requests.
