Abstract
The method of moments is applied for the calculation of reflection from specially designed microwave absorbers which are different from conventional ones based on transmission line theory, and non-reflection conditions are sought. The absorber has periodical arrays of conductive strips on a lossy material with metal lining on the back surface and is found to be a new frequency-tuned absorber. It features large versatility in choosing the lossy material compared to conventional absorbers
