Abstract :
V-BLAST can be combined with OFDM to achieve high data rate transmission in frequency selective fading channels. Due to the high data rates nature in V-BLAST OFDM systems, a dedicated silicon solution for V-BLAST detection will be cost effective. In this paper a pipelined architecture for V-BLAST OFDM detector is presented. It is designed for a 3times3 MIMO wireless LAN system with 48 data subcarriers/20 MHz radio bandwidth and a maximum throughput of 162 Mbps
