Abstract :
This paper presents a new chance constrained model to solve the optimal operation considering the uncertainties of wind power and load output. In conventional methods, the hourly load and wind power must be forecasted in advance. However, actually there are always errors in these forecast value. Considering the uncertainty of wind power and load, different models are adopted according to their different characteristics. To demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method, the optimal dispatch is performed in a simplified generation system. The result shows that a proper operating can be reached with the proposed method.
