Abstract
This paper presents an application of the structured testing methodology to the DSP software projects at Motorola, Corporate Research and Technology Center Singapore. The structured testing, also called “basis path testing”, is based on the cyclomatric complexity measure of McCabe, and classified as white box testing. This method was experimented on a DSP project and resulted in a 7.8× improvement of in-process faults and 1.3× improvement of the productivity
