Abstract :
The aim of this project was to investigate and implement Soft In Soft Out decoder based on Reed Solomon Codes. This type of error correction is widely used in data communication applications, such as Digital Video Broadcast (DVB), optical carriers and Space Data Systems (CCSDS) primary choice is RS Codes by Consultative committee for deep space communications signal error correction.
