  • Abstract
Er:YAG laser has been applied to medical field widely. It requires optical beam to make multidimensional operation on workpiece along the complex path, at the same time fiber is an efficient guarantee of soft output, but they all involve a problem of laser beam coupling to optical fiber inevitably. This paper tries to use light cone insert into fiber front which can make laser coupling to optical fiber well. Besides it will avoid pollution of optical fiber caused by thermal lensing effect. And use experimental results to verify the feasibility of the method.
