Abstract :
We present simulations of field emission from single-wall and multi-wall carbon nanotubes. The structures considered are the metallic (5,5), (10,10) and (15,15) nanotubes. The field-emission properties of the individual nanotubes are compared with those of the multi-wall nanotube made of these three structures
