  • Abstract
Flexible hinges have some characteristics, such as small volume, without rubs, ceaseless, good rigidity and high sensitivity. As the traditional hinge been replaced with the flexible hinge, the parallel mechanism just right have the above advantages, and suitable be used for micro-motion robot. Flexible hinges are widely used in micro robotic, and the internal stress of the flexible hinge within the allowable stress range is the guarantee of the normal work of the flexible hinge. In this paper, the internal stress under different factors of the arc flexure hinge is analyzed by using the finite element method, and the influence of the flexible hinge structure parameters to the internal stress is analyzed, which provide references for the selection of the flexible hinge in the practical application.
