  • Abstract
In order to master the law of GIS partial discharge and electromagnetic propagation characteristics (UHF) signal propagation factors affecting GIS cavity UHF, using a finite difference analysis (FDTD) simulation studies. Based on the Insulation Experiment Station of 500kV transformer combination test fixture, build simulation model with metal spikes such defects as an example to set emission source types and parameters, by setting different receiver positions and the receive direction, got some valuable with reference Conclusion. Overall, the conclusions has a certain significance on experiments and practical devices receiving sensor arrangement, and even the success of the GIS partial discharge detection work.
