Abstract :
Working principle of distributed optical fiber temperature sensor (DTS) system is introduced briefly in his paper. And factors affecting stability of DTS system are discussed. Electromagnetic interference and environmental temperature are important factors to stability of the DTS system. Metal shield is used to reduce electromagnetic interference. Temperature compensation circuit and sampling correction technique are developed to improve adaptability of DTS system to change of environmental temperature. Three methods improving stability of DTS system are put forward.
