Abstract :
In OPM, each software process provides a working environment in which programmers can actually work in order to accomplish a designated task, rather than prescribing the algorithm of the task, or giving a behavioral description of the task. We introduce the working environment approach for describing software processes. The key elements of the working environment approach are: (i) the way of using the process programming language to define process templates; (ii) the way of collecting resources and operations in working environments, and (iii) the way of navigating activities performed in working environments.
