Abstract
The authors propose the linear prediction (LP) method to estimate the frequency from the relation between LP coefficient and frequency for more than three sinusoidal waves by using the membership function of fuzzy reasoning. As a result of applying this method to three, four, and five sinusoidal waves, respectively, they could obtain good estimation of each frequency. Estimation errors were less than 1% at the range of -5 dB to 10 dB in three sinusoidal waves and at 0 dB to 20 dB in five sinusoidal waves
