Network management (NM) is becoming one of the most important subjects of the telecommunications industry. We summarize the technical characteristics of the Telecommunication Management Network (TMN) and the Telecommunication Information Networking Architecture (TINA), give a comparison between the TMN and TINA in detail, and probe the trend of NM technology
