Abstract :
It is very significant to telemedicine storage and transmission that compress large-scale dynamic electrocardiogram lossless. Considering temporal and spatial redundancies of electrocardiogram (ECG) data, an automatic lossless compression algorithm which is based on k-means cluster was proposed. Our algorithm was evaluated by MIT-BIH arrhythmia database, and evaluation result shows the proposed algorithm has better compression performance.
