Abstract
In this paper, an adaptive RF individual-order predistorter, using power minimization, is proposed and manufactured for CDMA cellular systems. From the measurement results, the proposed adaptive predistorter gives an improvement for the 2-tone test which is 23.6 dBc and 11.97 dBc for IM3 and IM5, respectively. Also, from the field test of CDMA IFA IS-95A, 4 dB improvement is achieved. Through experiments, the stability of the adaptive predistorter is maintained below -46.5 dBc over -10°C∼55°C.
