Abstract :
This paper focuses on the capacity reduction of an IS-95 reverse link in the presence of a wideband code-division multiple access (WCDMA) deployed at an adjacent frequency band in the 850 MHz bands. The models used in the simulation are described firstly, then the principle of the network interference analysis is discussed in detail. Furthermore, simulation results are provided and analyzed. Finally, the function expressions between capacity loss and ACIR are derived. The adjacent channel interference analysis method used in the paper can be utilized for frequency allocation, WCDMA network planning, and system design of mobile telecommunication systems.
