Abstract :
The merits of surface transfer impedance measurements of coaxial cables have stimulated efforts to find a similar procedure for shielded enclosures. This paper presents an analytical formulation for the transfer impedance of a hollow sphere, being an approximative model for a cubic shield. The sphere is excited by direct current injection (DCI) via thin conductors connected at opposite points on the sphere surface (poles)
