Abstract
The possibility to measure certain properties of small antennas with the help of a GTEM cell has been investigated. A GTEM cell with a length of 2.2 m and a frequency range from dc to about 4 GHz has been used for measurements of small antennas. The results have been compared to those obtained in the anechoic room. The aim of this work was to investigate the problems in obtaining reliable data about an antenna with help of a GTEM cell. Ideas for solutions to those problems have been developed. Radiation patterns are measured.
