Abstract :
This paper shows how the KR attack proposed by Nyberg and Rueppel (see Electron. Lett., vol.30, no.1, 1994, p.26-7) is successfully implemented in Harn´s (see Electron. Lett., vol.33, no.2, p.125-6, 1997) digital signature scheme for Diffie-Hellman (1976) public keys. Then it analyzes the reason for the success of the KR attack. With this reason in mind, a new improved scheme is proposed, which can resist the KR attack
